About Us

It was birthed sometimes in 2010, inspired by a programme ‘one on one’ on NTA Network. On this particular episode, the guest was the ambassador of the United States of America to Nigeria. The discussion was centered on the American Dream and how Nigerians needs the dream. The ambassador sold the American Dream with such conviction that i nearly bought into it.

After interrogating his expressions and thoughts on the programme, i asked myself; “as Nigerians, do we also have a dream?  a dream unlike our “dream teams”.  If yes, why have we become addictive buyers of other peoples’ dreams?” Other questions began to emerge; “Is the Nigerian state not worth a dream?” Slowly Victor Prince Dickson began to accept the truths that had been customized as lies.

Collectively as a country, we do not have a dream in the real sense of the word. What we have is wishful thinking backed up with so much prayer but very little actions (faith).

The little energy and faith that would have been translated into virile dreams have been bastardized and cowardized into regional, ethnic and religious sentiments, energies which could have been channeled into making Nigeria a dream nation has been dissipated on useless and irrelevant arguments on the balkanization of Nigeria.

But as I progressed in thoughts and actions, I met a handful of ‘Dreamers’  far and apart, very isolated and alone save for a few friends and family and company of private admirers and supporters. Who despite the cruel challenges have succeeded in making impact.

History has proven times after times that revolution, evolution are all a functional drive of a few. So In learning from history, I decided to create a platform where we can join dreams to dreams together like a multiple stranded cord. Each dream connected to another, like a league or a fellowship. The goal is to create an avalanche of change, with ripple effect that will galvanize private efforts into national tsunami of positive growth, where all can dream and all can have and be what they want to be.

Such is our dream to create a nation were honesty  and national integrity is no longer a commercial chant with financial and statutory dividends but a country where change is Justice, Peace, Character, Commitment, Faith, Love…..

Our intention is such that as we progress, dream connecting to dream, our change will be so evident and sure. Then, we can begin to export our thought and perceptions so that our reality can become other peoples’ dreams.

This dream is described in our National Anthem, National Pledge and Prayer.

DREAM SPEAKERS

Our meetings and events are inspiration driven, so those who we grant our Dream Speaker's status are those who have one or more projects targeted at adding value first to humanity, Africa, and to Nigeria.  Their project must have grown from abstracts to evidential.

National integrity must be of great concern. We do not recognize government oriented projects and office holders.

If you have all these, all you need to do is send us your profile and statement of activities, after which we will get back to you. Then you can lead other Dreamers to the land of the unknown.

Our dream speakers are not paid because all our Dream Meets are free and will always remain free.

Dream Speakers must not exceed 15minutes; so that it will allow us broadcast your talk unedited on our podcast (El-spice Television on Youtube)

Dream Meets

Our Dream Meet audience are unique and more adaptive to perceptions. It is a composition of innovation friendly hearts and fertile minds that can be easily inspired. Hence it is a good place to share innovation and future shaping ideas and concepts. Those who are seeking for special talents and expertise come to Dream Meet to connect and form partnership.

As a country with a dearth of models and mentors, Nigerian Dream Community provides a platform to listen, watch and connect with the very few who have been able to surmount their peculiar challenges to bring their dreams to reality.

As we progress, we shall be making available multimedia materials of our Dream Meets.

The core intent for the Dream Meet is to share and connect with like minds. Hence, Dream Meet can be organized by anybody within a specific locality.

However, those wishing to host this conference or workshop must meet certain conditions, this is so that we can control and monitor project’s fidelity.

CRITERIA:

Those wishing to host Dream Meets must:

           

           Attend at least one Dream Meet

           

Obtain Dream Meet permit (valid for only 360 days)

Have a key officer from the Nigerian Dream Community as supervisor       

   during planning and execution

Maintain the core values of the Nigerian Dream Community

Not charge money for the events

Brands and sponsorship can only be minimal

Collate and summit materials from events for broadcast on our Podcast on youtube for free download.

Other conditions will be discussed based on application for the Dream Meet permit.
